My Board

This used to be a very active site with many repeat contributors over the years. Where is everyone? Is the new format too hard for former users to navigate? I have monitored this site regularly over the years and miss the active input. I am a Boatnerd because of frequent visits to the Soo and Neebish Island while growing up. But now living in Maine I have little to contribute. But I think the new site is great with daily photos being part of Port Reports, History and News. Hopefully the regular contributors will get back on board.

If you check the old search forum, a lot of people are still active there. Some have expressed various displeasures with the recent changes, usually regarding the new layout and posting process, without really understanding why the changes were made. The posting process, initially, required a login, but is now back to being moderator approved.

There is a pinned thread at the top of the old forum that states the old board will remain up until it is no longer supported.

Thank you for that info JT. I thought the old search page was just for reference in the past. Will be sure to check both sites from here on out!

Some people can't handle change

You have to give them time to sort things out. There were more people involved with the move over to the new site but with all the negative feedback and complaining by alot of people, some of them have left. They all work full time jobs and volunteer their spare time to work on this. This age of instant gratification is getting ridiculous
