Curious why ASC/Grand River boats sail up the Wisconsin side from lower Lake Michigan ports.  Why do they not use normal LCA courses?

Thank you for posting your 60's Welland Canal footage.  Seeing people able to walk up to the locks and be so close to the boats is refreshing.  Now with fences, gates, Covid fears you can see how far we have come or gone from the old days.
