IMO Number Question
The new Navibulgar ships, Kom (IMO 9905708) and Bogdan (IMO 9905710), both have IMO numbers starting with 99. The numbers issued are progressing upward with some speed. What is the IMO going to do once they reach the maximum 7 digit number, 9999999?

Basically, to trade between Canadian ports a ship is required to be registered in Canada. Similar to Jones Act requirements for ships trading between US ports.
