Zeus, LT-805 and Polaris

by Mr Link » Fri Nov 12, 2021 3:58 am

According to Marine Traffic, Zeus is in Montreal, headed back to the Lakes.  Showing a destination of Calcite.  Did it happen to leave the Robert F Deegan there?

Interlake's new tug LT-805 MG Winfield Scott appears to still be tied up in Norfolk VA

And the LNG refueling barge Clean Canaveral is scheduled to be delivered by Bay Shipbuilding shortly. Curious to see what tug will make the delivery trip.  Being an ATB, it would make sense that its new pusher tug the Polaris would come to pick it up, but I have see no sign of it on AIS (although there are a ton of vessels named Polaris).  McAllister is supposed to operate the pair, so perhaps another McAllister tug may make the tow. Time will tell.
