Per Facebook posts, it sounds like it was tied up in Sarnia. A lot of ship repair work is done there, as long as it doesn't require a drydock. However I don't know if repair work is actually planned.

This Windsor Star article from last month says it has been out of service since 2019 with "internal structural corrosion issues" Pelee Island Ferry Service

Sounds like the past few years have been difficult for the ferry service; between covid and bringing a new ferry online and crew shortages.

On the Marine City river cam this morning I saw the Molly M I and the John D tugs taking the Jiimaan ferry north. I searched Jiimaan and saw where this ferry was being used near Pelee Island and was having issue.

Nice looking ferry.

Does anyone have more information on the problem? Does anyone know were it going?

If this is a repair are there options closer, like Port Colburn?
